3 types of people: Critics. Talkers. Doers.

 3 types of people

        

There are three types of people I encountered this month. 

 

Old friends and old relatives. We are close so they are open or so open in their options about yours truly.   Beginning this September 2021. To augment my trading (1-year full time trader) income, I started pursuing a Content Creator (I love the sound of it, Creator) endeavor while developing my Digital Marketing skill.  Perhaps if it does well and get noticed, I can get a project and monetize my accounts.  Major activities that I do aside from trading:  1. Research and Learning. 2. Creating and Practicing 3. Developing a system and 

 

1.  CRITICS, a person who expresses an unfavorable opinion of something. One weekend, I met an old friend and know that I am creating YouTube videos. He watched a couple of them. He laughed at me for having 2 viewers and the other one is me. I have 27 subscribers who are probably my friends. He also noticed that my voice in the video is not attractive.  Well, I told him that I am still shy and I have to learn so much. What is he up to lately, he just asked another friend of ours for a smoke? 

 

2. TALKERS, a person for me is someone who knows a lot of things. Very generous in giving his/her opinion even though that person knows little about what you are doing.  Can you remember someone who is like that?  They can be an old friend, relative, acquaintance who have good motive.  They are not against you but gives you advice that they have no firsthand experience.  If you are in business and there's this guy with no business background tells you, " Kailangan tutok ko sa business mo.” (you should be in your business all the time) “kailangan kahit barya lang kita mo, tanggapin mo.” (you should accept deals even you will just earn pennies) without them explaining to you why or site someone who did what they tell you.   When you ask them about how they are trying to improve whatever they are doing, they immediately dismiss the conversation.  There's this one friend of mine when I followed up a year ago plan that we talked about, " Pre, kalian ka na ba mag papakabit ng internet” (dude, when are you going to have an internet installed in your house?)  and he told me to talk about my life and not his. Hehe he 

 

Talkers are also those with grand plan. Place to travel to, things to buy like cars and houses and plans on how they will spend their millions......should they win in lotto.  

Talkers also tend to compare you to other successful people who are doing what you are doing.  they tell to do what they do and how they do it. 

 

3.  DOERS

Well, this are the guys who do what they say they'll do. Successful, maybe? maybe not yet.  It doesn't matter, as long as they are working on their plan. Practicing, researching, trying, researching, falling forward and keeps trying.  Motivating themselves even people laugh at them. Working to be the best version of the person who they want to be

 

People who are quick to criticize are usually not happy about their lives, about their incompetence.  So, they make fun of those who are trying to elevate their status.  That makes them feel superior and better.  They wait for the " I told you so " moment that they want to slam you the soonest that you declare   you are quitting.   They'll be so happy to be with your as soon as you call for a pity party moment.

 

 

I am happy and glad to have conversed with these friends.  Critics and Talkers, I will use them to motivate me by proving them wrong.  I quit on quitting. 2 things I learned in myself.  First, I am a quitter, because I know that there will always be an opportunity for me. Secondly, I must learn to say no to shining opportunities.   

 

 

We can be the first two at first but we can still change regardless of age. 

 

Asking about the meaning of life is asking the wrong question. We have the power to do meaningful things and make our lives meaningful. 

 

Which one are you now? Critic? Talker? or the Doer?
